Flames of War - some more tanks. Sherman V StuG G

AS you will see from the images below, there has been some minor progress on the painting front. These tanks are quite easy to knock out, so they are a satisfactory 'stop-gap' to keep me topped up until my next holiday break allows me to indulge a bit more. Having said that - a few Vallejo paints arrived the other day so I might sneak in a few bits of infantry painting when no one is looking... those fantastic little plastics are so inviting.

Group photo everyone, no shoving at the back.

All painted using Battlefront paint schemes and Vallejo paints. The hard part is stippling carefully to achieve a careful a camouflage effect when carefully putting on camouflage. It's a bit of a pain. Just the lil' fella in the command SuG G and the decals on a coupla StuG Gs to do.

40k minis and scenery - picture testing.

Just a few mobile pics to show models in situ as it were. Some Ultramarines, Space Wolves and Inquisitor Lorr stuck in there for good measure. Oh and the Rhino with the Forge World doors too. These are from my mobile phone, as I took them when I was storing all the scenery I have. Some of the GW buildings look quite good - so next time they are out and about I think I'll redo these so you can see them all more clearly!

An early tank project

An Ultramarines Rhino wot I done using Forge World doors and front panel. This made it miles more interesting to paint and adds a real sense of the dramatic to the model. A little bit of dirt here and there and away you go.

...and the rear doors ...

Still not sure about the photographer. Someone should learn him how to do it.
